ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico — Tom Bee shares during a quick phone conversation that he and his wife Vicki are coming back to South Dakota. This makes the third trip in three months. I tell him jokingly that they might
as well just move here.  I tell him about what happens when people make
a connection in South Dakota — they want to stay here. In Tom Bee’s case,
it may be the blood ties that bind.
